An idea grant competition for start-up social enterprises has been announced

About the idea competition

The Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) is inviting initiative groups and start-up social enterprises to participate in the idea&grant competition.

The aim of the competition is to support initiative groups and start-up social enterprises to get additional funding for implementing their ideas through innovative and sustainable ways.

At least 10% of the requested funds should be cost-shared by the applicant.

 

Application submission

Application submission is available electronically, through e-mailing on social.enterprise.ge@gmail.com

Please indicate following text in the subject line: Application for an idea&grant competition for start-up social enterprise.

Deadline for applications is December 8, 2022, 18:00 (GMT +4).

Application should be submitted in Georgian.

Consultation dates

 

Online consultations

Interested parties are invited to participate in the online consultations on 11th and 28th November, from 11:00 o'clock through the meeting platform Zoom.

 

Onsite consultation

At the first stage of the competition, onsite (physical) consultation will take place in the city of Telavi, Georgia.

About the project

The Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) with the financial support of the European Union and Bread for the world and with partner organizations is implementing a project “Advancing Social Entrepreneurship for Sustainable and Inclusive Society”.

Project partner organizations are the Social Enterprise Alliance (SEA), the Civil Society Institute (CSI), the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA), the Georgian Civil Development Association (GCDA), the Democratic Development Union of Georgia (DDUG) and the LEPL Youth Agency.
